Graphic and realistic, Jules Julien’s work allies boldness and sensitivity. After studying applied arts, he worked as an art director for years before forging his way in art and illustration. Using minimal concepts, he creates stories for clients such as Apple, Cartier, Diesel, Google, Nike, The New York Times Magazine, Lancôme, Cartier, Acer Computer, Grazia magazine, Sony PlayStation, Citizen K International, The Fader, Cartoon Network, Keds, and Laurence King Publishing.
Julien has exhibited in Berlin, Paris, Antwerp, Los Angeles, Zurich, New York, London, Valencia, Madrid, Montreal, San Diego, and Tokyo, which was home to his first solo show called Cadavres Exquis in 2008.
