Moonassi is a graphic artist and art director from Seoul, Korea. He creates beautiful black and white drawings that explore emotion, inner dialogue, and the human psyche. Identity is a recurring theme; spanning illustration, woodblock printing, sculpture, and new media, every piece represents an emotion or a word that Moonassi chooses to express through simple characters, encouraging the viewer to pause and consider the weight that a single thought can carry.
Moonassi currently divides his time between commercial commissions and personal artistic projects. His client list includes The New York Times, Hermès, Maison Kitsuné, Lomography, Planeta de Libros, The Village Voice, Chatelaine Magazine, and Sea Oleena.
