Tiffany & Co. have a decades-long commitment to ocean conservation, having awarded more than USD $38 million to organizations that support coral and marine conservation through their Tiffany & Co. Foundation since 2009. They approached Hugo & Marie to build a brand strategy and explore the possibilities around visual identity for a subbrand dedicated to this work, and to their ongoing commitment to help protect and restore coral reefs and precious marine habitats.

Diving deep into the brand’s history as well as the complexities of ocean conservation, we developed a brand strategy centered on clarity of purpose, education and action, while our visual development centered on a 3D-rendered, adaptable ocean treatments, avoiding the expensive and inflexible licensing of photography.
