Zachys engaged Hugo & Marie for a total rebrand, seeking to create a strategy, identity, and revamped web presence that will serve their successful wine retail, auction and storage business well into the future. A global business with local roots, Zachys represents the rare luxury in which product, service and people all reflect the decades of love that have built the business to this point.
Zachys has a deep passion for both wine and people. As emphatic about experience as product, our strategy, tone of voice, and brand identity embodies the dichotomy of a premium offering with a warm, personal touch. A serif with varied widths accounts for the idiosyncrasies of human service while bright hero tones are balanced by earthier ones. Bespoke illustrations imbue each arm of the business with an intellectual, playful sensibility.
As we developed brand materials, we reworked the business’s retail and auction websites to reflect the new guidelines. On track to launch in early 2025, the new site emphasizes navigability for those who know what they want and discovery for those who don’t. The exciting update solidifies Zachys’ new identity for the future.
